TabTrade — What It Is
TabTrade.com opened in March 2026. CFD broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, an New Zealand-regulated broker.
That last detail tells you something. It means the leadership has actually done this before. That is not a guarantee. But more reassuring than a founder with no industry background.
The broker opened with Equinix data centre access in London. Same facilities institutional desks use. Usually a new brokerage leads with marketing and bonuses. These guys went the other way. Interesting choice.
Market coverage: forex, stock indices, gold, silver, commodities, shares, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. Over 1,000 instruments. For a platform this new, that range is solid.
The Software
You get: MT5, cTrader by Spotware, and web trading. Both MT5 and cTrader from the same login. A lot of brokers only give you one or the other. Getting both matters. You are not locked into one.
MetaTrader 5 is the industry standard. Full charting, Expert Advisors, huge user base. If you have traded on MT4 or MT5 before, there are no surprises.
cTrader by Spotware is the alternative. Cleaner order book. Smoother chart interaction. Built-in algo trading. A lot of traders prefer it once they try it.
Direct FIX connectivity is available for bots but is only on the VIP tier ($25,000 deposit). TradingView charting is reportedly coming. That will be a good addition when it lands.
What You Pay
Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. 1.0 pip spreads. No commission. Easy to track. Zero deposit requirement. Works for people who want simple pricing.
Edge. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 per side. What you actually pay: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On majors, the raw spread is frequently below 0.2 pips. So your all-in cost can be under half a pip. That is cheap for a broker with $0 to start. Most brokers that run raw pricing at this level require a minimum deposit. TabTrade requires zero deposit.
VIP. $25,000 minimum. FIX API, sub-20ms execution, tailored rates. Not for typical accounts. Skip it unless you move real size.
How Fast Are the Fills
The speed is the area where this broker separates from most new launches. Equinix LD4/LD5. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. These are institutional numbers. Most retail brokers quote hundreds of milliseconds.
Should you care? For short-term trading, yes. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is the difference between. If you hold positions longer, you probably will not feel it. But the fact that the setup is serious. That says something about priorities.
Combine that execution speed with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and the overall offering holds up. Hardly anyone at this price point offer execution like this.
Regulation
This is the part you need to be straight about. Tab Trade is licensed by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No CySEC. No fund protection scheme. If that is a problem for you, stop reading. Plenty of tier-1 alternatives out there.
However. Benjamin Boulter built his career at BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The server placement costs real money. Dodgy operations do not invest in Equinix connectivity. None of this guarantee anything. It should inform your assessment.
The trade-off: you give up tier-1 protection. In exchange: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, fast fills. Whether the trade-off works comes down to your priorities.
Deposit Bonus
Tab Trade runs a deposit bonus of up to $2,000. Usual deposit match. You put money in, TabTrade add bonus funds. The normal fine print: turnover conditions before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Review the fine print before you commit.
